Fruytier Lawyers in Business has exchanged their office at the Keizersgracht for an office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. A bold move as they say, but with better accessibility and the entire team on one floor it’s a move that is very worthwhile.
Fruytier has asked DZAP to design the 600 M2 office space. ‘From old to new’ was the theme for the move, but also the theme for the new design. They moved from a monumental, stately location at the Keizersgracht to the modern office building Q-Port in Amsterdam. Elements from the old office have been incorporated in the new interior. For instance; the traditional green-panel doors are clearly recognizable. One of the old tables is coated in orange rubber, to become an iconic element in the interior. Completely new is the wall panel at the entrance where the well-known Amsterdam-crosses are clearly visible and also refer to the Amsterdam roots of Fruytier.
Fruytier is a law firm, and therefore they have many office rooms. As a counterpart and to give the office a social core, a shared living room has been created. The large carpet and dining table provide a homely atmosphere. To make a difference, Fruytier for chose a new, contemporary office. And it is no coincidence that they have hung the slogan ‘The guts to do it differently’ in the entrance!
